We want every user's Something Awesome experience to be--yeah, you
guessed it--awesome, so we ask that you adhere to some guidelines.
If you see something that offends you, please
report it to us and we will
take immediate action. By signing up for an account with The
Something Awesome Project (The SAP), you agree to the
following:
- Remain a positive member of the community: Be one who
uplifts (or at least keeps negativity to themselves).
- Play Nice: Abusive language, name-calling, insults,
harassment, personal attacks of any kind, stalking or content that
infringes or violates someone else's rights or otherwise violates
the law will NOT be tolerated. Users will be warned on their
first offense and the content will be removed. Users will be
suspended on their second offense.
- Leave the Spam in the Can: Please refrain from
soliciting, marketing, recruiting and/or mass messaging.
- Keep it Clean: We would like to keep our environment
"Safe for Work," meaning that any content you post should not be
pornographic, vulgar or obscene in nature.
- Be in Control of your Privacy: As The SAP is a public
network, we advise you to safeguard anything private including your
address, phone number or personally identifying information.
Non-members have access to reading posts and profiles on our site.
In your profile settings, be sure to check your
privacy controls.
- Be Careful: The SAP does not endorse its members meeting
online friends offline, outside of The SAP sponsored events. If you
make a decision to do so independently, we cannot be held liable
for any damages incurred. It is important for anyone choosing to
meet online friends offline to do so with utmost care and
caution.
